Rin Okumura has anxiety. It can be that simple, but unfortunately, it isn't. Ever since the fight with Amiamon, and almost getting executed, Rin's anxiety has affected him now more than ever. His old friends hate him, his brother probably thinks he's a burden, and he's just a messed up teenage demon who wants to die. After an ex-wire mission goes horribly wrong for Rin, these events seem to topple over his towering pile of problems. He can't take this much longer. He feels trapped. Emotions stimulate and override his claustrophobia to its endpoint.
