Kieran has been a patient in Saint Dymphna's Center for Troubled Youth ever since tragedy struck him when he was a child. Finally turning 18, he gets introduced to the system, and might have a slight chance to be cured and sent away from the asylum.
What happens when things don't exactly go as planned? And will the utterly detestable new boy prove to not be so utterly detestable, or will they both favour silence?

"What is?"
"My name. My name is Apollo."
Kieran deadpanned. "Apollo. As in the Greek god."
"I believe so."
"Master of the lyre."
"Indeed."
"Is this a joke?"
Apollo grinned, the first time Kieran had seen anything other than his usual dazed expression. "I am rather terrible at jokes, if you'll forgive me."
"Brilliant."
