The story revolves around an amnesiac girl named Ryōko Otonashi who is a student at Hope's Peak Academy, and the sharp-tongued Ultimate Neurologist Yasuke Matsuda, with whom she is infatuated. A month after The Tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy, the school is full of unrest and secrets, with many people attempting to find out what truly happened and who is to blame. Despite not wanting any of it, Ryōko is connected to the incident and soon gets caught up in its aftermath, learning more and more about what happened.

After escaping the killing game and making it to the outside world, Shuichi still feels regret and anger over his friends deaths. His 'pregame self' approaches him in a dream and offers to send him back to before Danganronpa 53 opened auditions. He accepts and is teleported what seems like an alternative universe. With inverted personalities and almost pyscotic moodswings, how will Shuichi convince them not to join the killing game?

DRV3 Spoilers "Kaede... you're alive?" Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko survived the 53rd Danganronpa game. But what if someone saved some of the others? What if, magically, they survived? Their deaths were mere fakes? There will also be other danganronpa characters present here, but DRV3 is the main. OC's too.
