When Tessa was 18 she entered the army as a medic. When she was 25 she was deployed back home. She became a firefighter at 67 and stayed there for about three years. Then became a paramedic . About four months ago she transferred to 51. She's 31, she's currently dating Matt Casey. That is why she transferred to 51. They've been together for 6 years. He didn't know she was ever a firefighter. She is currently starting a new partnership with Shay. Her best friends are the people from 51, Erin Lindsay, Kim Burgess, Natalie Manning, Sylvie Brett, April Sexton. Gabby is not a part of this story. This is the start of 51.

Since I really like Linstead and there is a lot that the two have never experienced together, I thought I could write it myself. It's an alternate start for PD. I don't own any of the original characters.
