I never wanted this marriage.
To be married to The King of France was a silent death, all he did was cheat, lie, and be very selfish, he was an awful ruler, Louis XIV was an awful man.
His court was filled with sycophants who turned a blind eye to his misdeeds, leaving me to navigate the treacherous waters of palace life alone. I longed for the freedom I once had, where laughter and love were genuine and not merely tools for political gain. I often found solace in the gardens, where the vibrant blooms seemed to dance with the wind, whispering secrets of hope and resilience. It was here that I dreamt of a life beyond the heavy crown, a life filled with adventure and true companionship. My heart ached for a world where I could be my own person, not just a pawn in the ruthless game of thrones. Despite the chains that bound me, I held onto my inner strength. I knew that one day, I would carve out a destiny that was truly my own-a destiny not defined by titles or alliances, but by the passions and dreams that lay deep within my soul. Until that day, I would endure, finding little moments of joy amidst the shadows and planning for the brighter future I was determined to claim.
"Your Highness, the King wishes to see you."
