"Shit shit shit." She repeats the curse word from her mouth. I look back at her and our eyes meet. She stares at me for a second, almost as if she is questioning something. "Damn it. Damn it" She sighs. "Just know I still hate you after this." I open my mouth to ask her what the hell she is talking about but before I am able to her hands slide up my chest and wrap around the back of my neck, and with all her might she pulls down, making our mouths crash together. • • • Tayla Madden, a full time anesthesiologist nurse who has always done everything she can to withhold the Madden name. Axel Brown was not particularly approachable. With a cold interior and a deadly stare he'd scare those who get to close away. So what was so different about Isabella June? She was everything he hated in a person. Chatty, loud, full of energy. A walking, talking ball of sunshine. The polar opposite. Well, his first mistake was falling into the traps of her. Falling so hard that he'd do just about anything to have her. His second mistake was burying himself in a void full of darkness and a life full of suffering with no way out other than the help of her. The girl who'd die for him, yet ultimately, live for him. ~~~ WARNINGS This story contains mature themes (strong language, violence, addiction, etc.) Copyright @khampadd 2022 - all rights reserved

My back was pressed against the wall, and our faces were merely inches away. He gently placed a finger below my chin and tilted my face upward. I tried my best to avoid his gaze. "Look at me, Sebastian." I slowly met his piercing brown eyes, and my throat went dry. He leaned in, and I shut my eyes as my heartbeat grew erratic. I could feel his hot breathing near my ear. "Do I make you nervous?" I gulped. He gently caressed my jaw. "Why have you been avoiding me, darling?" I couldn't hold it in anymore. My chest was about to burst. It was all too much for me. I opened my eyes and yelled it out. "Because I'm in fucking love with you, Finn." The moment those words left my mouth I regretted it. I covered my face with my hands, completely mortified. I was close to tears and did not want him to see me this way. I could feel him gently pry my hands away, but I kept my eyes shut, too embarassed to face him. I drew in a sharp breath when he placed his forehead on mine, my hands locked tightly in his iron grip. "God, Sebastian. You have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words." And right then, his lips crashed onto mine, and nothing else mattered. -----------------

His pack more than happy to welcome in more than one packless shifter. So it should be no surprise when he gets a call from the Omega Registry, the foundation created to make sure that the gentle wolves that sometimes get abandoned for one reason or the other all get matched with Packs who are willing and able to open up their territories and homes to give them shelter, that he shows no hesitation taking on an omega with no other place to turn to... And that he does it with a smile... Not understanding that this time, the new pack member he's welcomed is so much more than he ever bargained for.
