On a cold autumns day....... No not like that, that's basic. It was a great day to be alive...... No that's too tacky and so not true. To start a story is really hard especially if you're trying to exaggerate it. To hook the reader in is like trying to get a perfect score on a test you never even knew you had. You thought you knew it all but when push comes to shove you fail. One thing that's actually hard when trying to write a story is finding a way to put what's on your mind into words, so it can make sense to others as well as yourself. I may know what I'm going to say but do you? Although this is hard for me, it is easy for people like my brother Adam. He can understand what anybody going through.
