FitzSimmons take their much-deserved vacation and try not to let the fun kill them.

Fitzsimmons work as counselors at a summer camp. Mostly for money. Maybe for the opportunity to express their true feelings for each other. But yeah, mostly for the money.

Jemma Simmons is the head drum major of the most successful marching band program in the country, and she is proud of the hard work it had taken her to earn the directors' support. Leo Fitz was a highly ranked saxophone until his popularity and general agreeableness earned him the second drum major position. They disagree on a lot of things, but the band's need to win is not one of them.

Only a few months after joining the team, Fitz creates his greatest invention yet: a machine with the ability to travel through time. He and Simmons test it out and travel to the past, but they don't expect things to go so wrong. They certainly don't expect to be thrown into the greatest danger they've ever known. And one of them will be thrown to a world that's even more frightening than the past: their impending future. A FitzSimmons realistic time-travel fic ( if there is such a thing). Not AU. PG.
