Another time. Beyond the Age of wonder lived a thriving race--The Gelfling--ruled over by the wise Jen and gentle Kira, as well as their soft-spoken daughter, Mavra. But there is a sickness growing in the world of Thra. A sickness that no one thought would be brought back from the dead: the Blight. Now, it is up to Mavra and her friends, Kensho and Thurma, to restore the balance in her world and the world beneath hers.

It's been a year. Mason is still in a coma and his survival is uncertain. While looking for a cure, Ali is roped back into a prophecy that she received last summer. She doesn't know who is haunting her dreams, but she does know how to find out. The camp is in chaos. While the others fight off monsters and try to restore Thalia's tree, Ali goes off on her own to finally finish the prophecy that started a year ago.
