Detective Kate Beckett rolls up to a crime scene. This one is a little sad, as the victim is a child, but she doesn't find it too strange. That is until a speeding Ferrari pulls up as well. She is surprised to see one of her favorite mystery writers, Richard Castle, is the driver of the cherry red vehicle. He jumps out and runs to her. "What happened to her? Is my daughter dead?!" Detective Javier Esposito comes up behind Beckett, too focused on the school ID in his hands to see the wreck of a famous novelist in from of him. "Vic, Alexis Castle, 15 years old" he informs her, as the six foot tall man sinks to the floor as his world is ruined forever.

Yet another Johanna Beckett fanfiction, I kinda love her, or at least the idea of her. After Beckett and Castle's son is kidnapped a familiar face from Kate's past comes to help find him. But what happens in the wake of the events?

Series of one shots, they will not be in order and may contain any of the character ships that are in the show not just Caskett. None of the one shots go along with one another.

This takes place after the events of S6 finale in the aftermath of Castle's car accident. Beckett is having a hard time dealing with Castle's death but when her mother shows up beaten and bruised with information regarding Castle's accident Beckett can't just look away, she has to dive in head first.
