What started as a simple PR stunt-forcing the reckless Rabbit Hero, Rumi Usagiyama, to take on an intern-quickly turned into something far more complicated. Izuku Midoriya wasn't just another student. He was sharp, relentless, and unwilling to back down, no matter how brutal her training was. Their dynamic was never meant to be easy, but as time passed, admiration turned into something neither of them could ignore. Izuku is 18 Here. This Fic is after the fight with Overhaul and before everything else. Shigaraki and the rest are still active, a few tweaks have been made as you will see and he is generally a bit less of a dense little rock. No one knows what happened to James Potter over the break. All they know is that he disappeared two weeks before thanksgiving and came back a different person. He wasn't who he used to be, and he doesn't think he ever will. Severus has his own issues but when you have an unreasonable urge to protect and comfort someone who needs it, you dont question it you do it. There Regulus was. A flawless artwork. Shining as bright as the stars above him. James couldn't move forward, no matter how much he wanted to. He didn't want to ruin the sombre yet peaceful state the young Slytherin was in, looking up at the different constellations James knew nothing about. He had never seen Regulus like this before - utterly relaxed whilst leaning against the ageing tree. It was the second time he had thought the boy simply.. human, and it jarred him. James didn't want to think of the curly-haired boy as anything else than a traitor to his brother. Anything else but a future death-eater. They were destined to be on different sides and thinking of Regulus as anything else almost felt like a betrayal. But it didn't stop him simply standing there, under the shadows of the night. Maybe James could have justified himself looking over to make sure Regulus wasn't doing any weird, death eater type shit. But James would be lying to himself. He simply wanted to watch the silent boy look at the stars.
