Lance is Altean, but he is neither Allura's brother, or a prince. Instead he was an aspiring young Alchemist in training, and Allura's childhood friend. Along with the Princess and Coran, Lance was also put to sleep in a cryo-pod and sent away, when Altea fell. 10,000 years later, Shiro, Keith, Hunk and Pidge, riding in the Red Lion, discover them in the Castle of Lions. After retrieving the other Lions, Lance is chosen to pilot Blue and now must to end this war, and defeat Zarkon. But how can he do that, when has yet to lock his full power yet?
