"Hey! How can I . . ." he trailed off suddenly, glancing up from the tablet at me.
In that split second, I noted two things.
One, the guy looked like a second-year university student just like me. He had straight black hair that fell just above his ears, warm brown eyes, and round silver wire-framed glasses. Dully, I noticed that he was also quite good-looking.
Two, I saw it in his face when he took in my expression and managed to deduce that today was not a good day.
