Samuel Brandt woke up with his thoughts written all over his body. His brother woke up with his head missing. His sister woke up to find that her skin would crack open unless she stayed in water. All of the other children in the secluded Iowa town of Oak Knoll woke up having undergone strange transformations. Now, they are all forced to live at 407 West Marshall Street, the mysterious house outside of town. With the new name of The Boy with Words for Skin, Samuel wants nothing more than to hide from his new life. He painfully and unpredictably sheds his skin, there is a Voice in the entryway closet that is often cruel, and-perhaps worst of all for a naturally shy boy-the other children look to him as a leader. As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.

"Look dude, I get that you probably have some emotional problems, and you have taken to random strangers to find comfort. I mean I get it, I really do" I totally didn't "But it isn't really cool to do this sort of thing, so I'll tell you what. My Sisters, Husbands, Uncles, adopted daughters, mom is seeing a shrink for the exact same thing, I could get you her number or something? It's probably better than going around hugging random strangers." I told him. The dude didn't answer me, no. He decided to bite me. And I blacked out. *** Sarah is a normal human, with a normal family. she goes to a normal university, and she has normal obsessions with hot TV stars. Everything about her is normal. He sighed loudly, and still holding me tightly, sat up. "Why did you run?" He demanded. His voice was hoarse and I could see pain in his eyes. My wolf was killing me inside. She wanted to make Declan feel better, in any way she could. I, however, was thinking the exact opposite. "Because I don't want this. Not right now." I told him honestly. His eyes grew darker. "You are never leaving my side again. Not until I know you won't run." He told me. "And I will make sure of it." Then he leaned down and started kissing my neck. I froze when I felt his teeth start to graze the spot my mark would eventually be. "Wait.... Declan!" I choked out, then I felt his teeth sink into my neck, claiming me as his. Declan had started the mating process. *Terrific cover photo created by xbleedingsouls*

"As much as I'd love to watch you walk away right now, I need you to give this a chance. Just a year and if you still hate me then you can leave and I'll release you of your mate promise." At first she was silent but a curious curtain settled over her eyes. Crossing her arms over her chest again, Livona ventured slowly. "A year?" You shouldn't be giving her that long, she'll be ours within 6 months. My wolf purred in determination and I rolled my eyes. He was awfully sure. Instead I focused on the person who needed convincing. Nodding slowly, I interlaced our fingers in attempt to soften her resolve. "Yes it's a reasonable amount of time to stop hating each other." Dropping her eyes to our hands, she raised her eyebrows at me which I responded to with a soft smile. The tingles our joined touch produced was slowly making its way deeper through my skin, washing a peace over me. Her hard silver eyes searched me for some clue of my insincerity.

〰"You were a fool to ever believe in me."〰 Kaylee Williams has spent the past few years of her life on the run from her psychotic parents, never settling down or staying in one place for too long. That all changed when she saw on the news that a plane had gone down with both of her parents inside of it. Despite being packed full of doubt and trust issues, she finds her world shifting as she moves in with her aunt who lives in the small town of Ashford, Connecticut. With a couple of new friends and a frustrating boy who seems to think that he owns her, she finally starts to feel something that she hasn't felt in years. A sense of security. But when her past pops back into her present, she is reminded that normality is not for her and that she's not nearly as safe as she thought. And she may never be. 〰〰〰〰〰 A glimpse into Kaylee's past: "I found out I was adopted when I was 8. It never really bothered me though. My parents were still my parents to me and they were still the ones who raised me. I still loved them, and they still loved me. They could be a bit detached and unemotional sometimes, but they were never ones for affection. They started training me when I was 10. They didn't tell me what for, until I was 12 and they introduced me to the world of werewolves. And werewolf hunters. The latter category is what my family fell under. So imagine the irony when on my sixteenth birthday I sprout a pair of fangs and a tail. And also gain the good fortune of my parents trying to kill me. Yeah, happy sweet sixteen to me."
