I reached up to sweep them aside when he looked at me with alarm. "How can you see me?" he asked surprised. "What do you mean?", I asked him, "can't everybody see you?" "No, only other angels and god." he started to study my face as if it would give him a clue as to why I could see him. My heart started to pound. I blushed and dipped my gaze to the ground. "Unless somehow your an angel without wings or..." he trailed off, deep in thought. "Or what?" I asked curiously. He looked at me and jumped back, hovering in the air. "Or your the devil's daughter." he said before spreading his wings and taking off into the night.
