Lucy, YN, and Peter travel to the Last city in hopes to find someone who wishes to tare down WICKED, just so they can find the family she had grown to love. But not everything is perfect, and things go wrong. B13 is the Peacekeeper, the one who always keeps a level head in times of need. But can she keep the peace when one is trying to start a revolution, and the other trying to end any and all that step into their way? The long nights have just begun, and the trials of the Scorch are just getting started. But the question is, who is immune? And who is not? And beware of the black veins.

While Rosalee has to learn to adapt to her new home, she gets to know a certain British second-in-command named Newt. Soon after, she begins to fall for him. She was always looked to for answers to a problem. Once her group escapes WICKED she and her friend Aris start to think kids don't really leave to a sanctuary...

She was from Group B-an "original," one of the first thrown into the Maze and left to survive. Escape was never part of the plan. Not for her. Not after everything she'd seen. But somehow, they made it out. Now, she's been relocated to a so-called Safe Haven-a sterile facility that is said to be their reward for surviving. But nothing about it feels safe. Aris, the only other survivor from her group, doesn't trust a word they say-and after a new group of boys bursts in with warnings of lies, manipulation, and something far worse lurking beneath the surface, neither does she. One of the boys stands out amongst the chaos. There's something in the way he looks at her-like he's seen the same horrors, like he understands her in a way no one else has. And no matter how much danger they're in, she can't seem to stay away. The deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes: escaping the Maze was just the beginning. *I do not own most of the characters or a majority of the plot line!
