Als het leven van Sarah compleet op zijn kop wordt gezet door problemen thuis, pesters op school, slechte punten enzovoort, laat ze zichzelf meeslepen in een fantasiewereld die ze denkt zelf gecreëerd te hebben: Neverland. Het fantaseren wordt zelfs zo erg, dat er ook een jongen verschijnt in haar droomwereld. Maar is deze jongen wel wie hij zegt dat hij is? En is Neverland echt niet meer dan een droomwereld?
