Mad Hatter has had his fair share of royals- Princesses especially, after helping Red rescue the Queen of Hearts. With his father now in the Wonderland prison, Max seemingly is rougher around the already jagged edges. Now, finally in class after a week in Wonderland, he's partnered with another HK, Queen Nala's daughter. It's bad enough he just dealt with Robbie Hood, now he's stuck with y/n Pride for the rest of the year. He didn't know this forced partnership would lead to a flutter in his chest. WARNING: all characters are 15 to 17, meaning, no smut! Especially since these aren't my original characters! There will be swearing, maybe a little bit of kissing, but no birds and bees.

We were released all at once, normal gravity returning as the game ended. Everyone rushed together in a big, relieved group hug. Max pulled me in without thinking, arms wrapping around me tight for a moment. I hugged him back just as instinctively. Then we both realized it at the same time and pulled away fast, awkward.
