Same would be said for Toothless. He missed his best friend. Besides from that, everything was going great for the both of them. They had started families with their lovers, Toothless was going good as the Alpha/King dragon and Hiccup was performing his duties as the Chief of Berk very well. But despite their lives being close to perfect, neither of them could shake the feeling of missing each other. So Astrid came up with an idea. Hiccup and Toothless could catch up while they go away for a couple of days. Both Berk and the Hidden World would be looked after well by their leaders wives. Hiccup and Toothless thought it was a great idea, so they accepted. And there was no doubt they were excited. But what would happen if they were caught in a terrible storm and crashlanded onto an island? With Toothless' self-working prosthetic tail broken, they needed supplies to fix it. After getting the honour of killing a Nightmare, Hiccup leaves Berk with Toothless. It seems like he can't find peace as three years later the Hooligans find and capture him. Going back to Berk seems like a bad idea at the time, but Hiccup has to push aside all selfish reasons and help Berk. During the Berk coming of age entrance test (long name I know) five young Vikings face the outdoors alone for a year. Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut. They expect a boring year filled with fights, little food, and dragon attacks. But don't expect a mysterious dragon rider with a connection to Berk. I own none of the pictures I use unless mentioned. I was a disappoint in everyone's eyes since the day I could crawl. Bullied, neglect, abused by everyone. They only started to change their opinions about me when I succeeded Dragon Training. I can't stand this anymore. There's nothing for me here. There has to be something more to my life than constantly being scorned, looked down upon and feeling like I'm worthless. Hiccup runs away from Berk with Toothless (after the fight with the Nadder in the ring). Astrid never stopped him and the romantic flight never happened. Many years later, Hiccup has built a new life for himself where his talents are appreciated and he is well-respected. He has many allies and friends, but also many enemies. He hopes to never return to Berk, but unforeseen circumstances force his hand: and he must face his past, in order to have a future.
