The resistance was a playful war started by Grian. But what if it turned into something way..way worse? This story is in Seasons 7 and 8 :)

We all know stories of the Watchers. How they're all bad and actively seek world domination or something similar of the sort. But this isn't that style of story. Well, maybe it is, but who's counting all of the evil Watcher stories? ----- A rewrite of one of my Hermitcraft AUs. Hope you enjoy the changes I've made both with the story and some background stuff! You don't have to read the prologue btw :) Just a reminder that I've only seen Hermitcraft 6 from Grian's POV and that this is just fanfiction based off a silly idea I came up with a year ago! (I also haven't seen Evo yet but shhhhh I'll get to that eventually) (The cover might change in the future as I design my Watcher!Grian design) Cover is by me.

A small boy wearing nothing but white and gray ran through the quieted parts of the popular server. He ran until he found the secret redstone door he saw his friend, and only friend to be frank, make it before his eyes. The boy stepped on the stone pressure plate, watching the pistols unfold the door in front of him. He couldn't help but be awestruck everytime. Beyond there laid his friend he made just a year ago when he was allowed to visit another server for the first time. - • - A Hermitcraft 6 AU. Yes, I know Season 7 is running right now but Season 6 is just a lot more fun and it works the best for this story in general. [ Story completed on July 26, 2020 ]

Grian's life was shattered into a million pieces a long time ago. So long ago, he didn't know whether it was ever even whole. When he joined Hermitcraft after running away from the Watchers, it was starting to come together, until season eight began and his life was thrown into chaos. The Watchers were there, and he didn't even know if they were good or bad anymore. He didn't know who to be scared of. And he was forced to question everything in silence, finding refuge only in his magic. And unfortunately for him, things don't always go the way he might have expected - not that he really had any expectations, anyway. There is some mild swearing. (The cover is literally just a picture of a galaxy about 140 million light years away taken by NASA) Total word count: approx. 40,000

[It took Grain years to get over what happened in High-school and adding to the stress was hiding his purple wings and that fact he was a watcher.] [Grain was happy, finding better friends and got a new best friend that wasn't insane.] [But all good things come to an end, especially when Grain's High-School Past came back to haunt him.]

"Come home or we'll kill them." "..." "Well, Xelqua, what is your choice?" I finally fixed the cover! This story is a lot like the wonderful @LunaStarSeeker's amazing Fight or Flight. By a lot, I mean the first part is almost a rewrite but it does split off for her story eventually. The only thing that's that different is that Grian was a watcher but I'll explain more in the story. I don't want to ramble but as I said, I can't write descriptions. (Cover not mine.
