Harry goes to confront Draco in the bathroom after hearing of his attack on Katie Bell. Instead of fighting him, Harry decided to talk things through. What he didn't know was that such a small change could affect their future drastically. Present time. 1 year after battle of Hogwarts. Draco died in battle during the war. And that left Harry devastated. After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter has yet to unlock the powers of the Deathly Hallows. Rumour has that the Deathly Hallows gives the owner the power of life and death. Can he gain this power to resurrect Draco? Or will it all be a lost cause?

To suppress this ache for adventure, he decides to find himself a roommate. It's only a pleasant surprise when after a tiring search he finally gets in contact with Draco Malfoy - a peculiar young boy whom he had met two times before. The first time at that specific clothing shop in Diagon and the second during the Yule Ball of 1994. The first time Harry had learned that Draco is much smarter than he shows, the second that he is much sneakier than he shows (and also looks stunning in blue) and the third that there is so much more to learn about Draco Malfoy that such brief encounters simply can't give him any justice. Draco's ready to fit Potter with a prosthesis and send him on his merry way, but then the rest of Draco's patients start seeing mysterious symbols through their eyes, and the resulting blow to Draco's public reputation drags Scorpius's promising campaign to be the Ministry of Magic's official Creature Liaison through the mud. Draco is determined to fix it. If that means trudging through a boggy moor in search of a fictional species Luna thinks is causing their problems, Draco will just have to pluck up the courage, march in with a team of Gryffindors, and be ready to battle any beast they meet. Convinced by Hermione to get a new pet, Harry goes to Magical Menagerie and finds it's now owned by Draco Malfoy who has changed since the war... in a good way, a really good way.

A short Drarry fluff-ball of a story (literally). A post-war story in which Harry becomes the new gamekeeper at Hogwarts and Draco becomes a very fluffy Animagus, much to his disgust.

A Drarry Story. Set shortly after the war and during the first term of year eight. Harry returns to Hogwarts battling with PTSD and Draco has to return to complete his N.E.W.T.s as part of his probation. Hogwarts has been restored physically, but the school still needs to heal. Draco is being bullied and Harry steps in to help. It turns out that something as small and insignificant as a Golden Snitch may be the healing link for both Harry and Draco and for Hogwarts as a whole.
