Marco Bodt is blind. That's why his best friend Jean Kirschtein, who is unfortunately a mute, helps him get around. Of course Marco helps Jean as well, but the two were practically inseparable. One day, Jean and Marco were wandering around when they accidentally bump into Levi Rivaille. Jean mouths out to him and is surprised when Levi understands him. Levi confesses he's deaf, and he joins the two making a little group. When a mysterious person of high power visits them one day, they are given an opportunity to gain back their lost senses. They quickly agree but without hearing the consequences. And the consequences are more than what any of them expected...

After the death of Marco Bodt, Jean just couldn't handle himself. His usual day would go by as either fussing with Eren, flirting with Mikasa, enjoying a nice conversation with Armin.......or laughing with Marco. Now he sits by himself not talking to anyone. People have tried to ask him 'what is wrong?' But he wouldn't say. One night laying in bed, he finds angel feathers on his forehead and sees Marco smiling at him from above.......

After a terrible car accident that Marco and Armin got in Marco fell into a deep coma. Jean has stayed by his best friend's side since he found out and promised not to leave. Marco was always thankful for each blessing he receives in life. They view things differently. But the one thing they agree on, is their desire to spend the rest of their full lives together.

A new day and a new school. Marco finally moved to a new town and was ready to start a new day. Only if he knew..the first friend he will meet...he will love the most. Marco never really knew what love was but he soon will find out. Jean will know too. "No homo." Jean would always stay but it would change thanks to Marco. Protecting, caring, and loving each other...till the accident with Jean happened...Marco thought he had everything till that accident. Jean thought his life was perfect with Marco.
