Seventeen-year-old Winter Chu has seen it all. Shrivelling sleep schedules, diets, his picture perfect mentor's booger, a fat zero in maths. You name it, he has seen it. Or that's what he likes to believe. Exactly why Winter cannot fathom how he failed to see how he could go from walking shoulder to shoulder with his best friend - scratch that, his ex-best friend - on the busy streets of Seoul while playfully burlesquing their mentor to running away from said best friend in the span of a single day. Or, how on the same day, he ended up moving in with three other kids who were as confused as him in a dorm that was whipped out by the mentor he had just burlesqued. Fast forward two years and Winter has made countless decisions in the span of it, some good and some equally bad. Bad being: completely erasing Liu Xuejun, his ex-best friend and everything that had to do with him from his life. So when Xuejun, now a rising star, slips back into his messy life from the shadows of busking crowds and in old sauna rooms, Winter has no choice but to go with the slippery flow. Even when his own debut is right around the corner. Even when his heart beats the wrong way for Xuejun every single time. Even when he knows none of this is a good idea. Listen, dreams are tricky things. But you know what, so are friendships. - rankings - #36 nanowrimo 17.03.2022 #36 talkthepoc 17.03.2022

Going back to my old title 'Is He A She?!' instead of the Tapas one 'Testoster-zone.' _______ ❝Sometimes you don't have to be Superman or Spiderman to save a soul. You just have to dress as a guy.❞ _______ Parents and troubled looks are always a bad combination. Just like how getting bankrupt and asking to dress as a guy are a bad combination. Mission objectives: 1. Befriend unfriendly, cold, rich loner. 2. Make him social. 3. Get the hell out of this all boys school. But some things go unplanned just like how the mission gets altered a 'teeny' bit. Like, for e.g., 1. Make friends. 2. Become one of the boys. 3. Make her roommate 'life of the party.' 4. Have the time of her life. 5. And maybe, just maybe... fall in love. ________________ Dedicated to my sister/mentor/inspiration @Litdark ________________ r e a d e r ' s o p i n i o n "Your story has dripping sarcasm and drool worthy attitude of girls, and the amazing romance - I kid you not, no one wants to miss an amazing sarcasm dripping hilarious fiction." "That girl is da bomb. Period." "The feels and bromance is too real. Help!" "Short. But hilarious and downright funny. Good job." ________________ #1 [ humour ] # 32 [ teen fiction ] Cover credit: me Image credit to owner Trailer credit: yours truly _________________ © copyright 2015-2016 Please do not copy. Mia Evian has to piece together the mystery of Zack Maddox, the bad boy whose life she saved, while simultaneously keeping her own crumbling life together before Zack ends up in trouble again - or worse yet, dead. ***** This is a love story. When Zack Maddox, a notorious bad boy, meets Mia Evian, a nobody with a disdain for arrogant pretty boys, the two teenagers' lives are thrown into chaos. Zack is a mystery Mia can't unravel, and as her family is torn apart by her father's infidelity, her newfound thrill-seeking attitude is the only thing keeping her head above water. As Mia's behaviour turns increasingly reckless, Zack becomes the lifeboat keeping her afloat. Mia thought she had a good grasp of the world, but she's beginning to realise the people around her are far more complex than she could have ever imagined. Worse still, she may not be the only one who needs a lifeboat. This is a love story - just not the kind you might expect. ***** Content warning: This story contains mild drug and alcohol use and themes of mental health, self-harm, and suicide.
