As a greenhorn in this writing endeavor, I found myself lacking in many aspect. Beside the fact that English is my third language and grammar is my number one enemy, I take pride on everything I do on my stories. However, I sometimes question what's what with writing, like: What's a Prologue? What do I do with Epilogue? How should I address flashbacks? Should the quotation mark be placed before or after period? I've said "said" a million times, are there any other way to say "said"? Am I writing this right? How do I WRITE RIGHT? All these mind-boggling questions have kept me up numerous nights. April is National Poetry Month!! To celebrate, I took up a challenge online, from one of those writer's community that really does publish books. Though I'm not planning on submitting it to be published, I still accepted the challenge. It's more like a personal challenge, to churn my thinking cap and crank my creativity machine.
