Emerald is struggling with depression. She often has fights with her parents and feels like no one understands her. The only thing that keeps her going are her friends. Then the city Emerald lives in goes into lockdown and no one can go outside. Emerald can't visit her friends and is stuck at home with her family she doesn't get along with.
