Henry Stein, former animator for Joey Drew Studios, is invited back 30 years after leaving the company. Out of interest, he accepts, and heads for the abandoned studio in New York. Little did he know that now he's in for an adventure through Hell and back. But of course, there's one rule everyone knows and respects down there, even Henry. Based off of Marvel's Disney+ series, What If...?, comes tales of the Bendy and the Ink Machine world but not as you know it. Here we ponder the question, what if and see where it would have taken the Bendy universe. I'm also free to your what ifs. If you have any feel free to tell me what they are in the comments of the story (doesn't matter what chapter as I'll see them all the same) or privately message me. I'll work them into my story and mention you at the beginning of the chapter thanking you for your contribution and notifying other readers that this is your what if. It's time to rewrite Bendy and the Ink Machine history and ponder the question, What If...? (Chapters won't be published orderly nor will they come out every week, like one of my other stories I did. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. You always knew that saying and you knew it well, you had to with a friend like James. That man's curiosity was something to behold, sure it's gotten you into trouble many times before but this, this is different. It was meant to be such a simple task, go in and find Joey, explain to him why your father couldn't come and then leave. It was that simple...so, why did everything have to go so wrong?
