Books were to entertain, and it certainly wasn't entertaining to read about war and death. If the Prince truly wanted to see that, he would simple look outside. If he wanted to hear about that, he would ask his father about the latest beheading. Books were supposed to be an escape from that. What angered Wilbur more, however, were *love* stories. Especially ones like 'Romeo and Juliet.' He despised those with a burning passion. It's not like Wilbur didn't like the concept of 'love'. No... that's far from it. He just hated the clichés. Not to mention books containing love AND sadness. He'd never pick up the book again. The 'love you could never have but you'd risk everything for it' trope was absolute insanity to Wilbur. But, who knew, with a comical amount of irony, that his life was about to turn into what he loathed the most. - or - Wilbur and Quackity learn what true love feels like.
