You are a female human who lived in Dreamtale. You had a sweet soul caring for all humans and monsters. You were a very close friend with the two guardians of the Tree of Feelings: Dream and Nightmare. You visit them often and keep them company everyday. But you didn't know that Nightmare had a thing for you and was obsessed with you. One day Nightmare sees you spending more time with Dream making him feel something inside of him like rage and jealousy. Thinking that Dream might take you away from him. He didn't want that. He wanted to show you that he was a good guardian like his brother. So the next day while Dream was talking with some villagers along with (Y/N) Nightmare took this chance and took one of the golden apples. Everything was thought to be going well but it didn't the golden apples became black as Nightmare was shocked of what he was witnessing. He turned see both (Y/N) and Dream in shock. Before they could do anything angry villagers were starting to come attack Nightmare. Dream and (Y/N) held off the crowd the best they could until they heard Nightmare in pain. They looked as Nightmare bit the apple and began to get corrupted. As soon as Nightmare became corrupted he began to slaughter the villagers in half with the use of his tentacles. Y/n was always in love with the underwater world. So in love that they brought the deepest and most unknown creatures to the overworld. The reader spends their time with dealing with a couple of 8 creatures while trying to keep them a secret from the overworld. It is hard to consider that they are ready to eat every human head off that stands against the reader.
