(AU in which Misa never fell in love with Light) Light became Kira, a wannabe-god who used the Death Note to kill criminals. L, the world's greatest detective, took on a case to capture Kira. Misa found Light in Aoyama and later became known as the Second Kira. Light and Misa both gave up ownership of their Death Notes and their memories of ever being Kira were erased. Light helped L's team capture the Third Kira. Light fell in love with L, as did L to Light. Light asked L to a dance. But L didn't know how to dance. What happened then?

Light is fully aware of being Kira. He would love it continue it. But when a certain detective attaches himself to the boy, he has no where to go. And to make it worse, Light might be getting feelings for him.

(AU!!!) There has been a lot of theories that Light Yagami is adopted, so I came up with this idea not long ago ^-^ (by the way I had to change the ages of a few characters so in this story L and Light are the same age) Light's mother, Aika Hayashi, a 24 year old Japanese prostitute works long nights to support her child. She soon has to take care of a dear friend's young British son, named L, once his mother dies of AIDs. She works in the very apartment that houses her kids who are left in the bathroom every time she's "working" . As life gets worse for the two boys they bond even closer until they are eventually split up, only to meet each other once more 17 years later and form an even closer bond filled with sex, lies, heartbreak, acceptance, and eventually love.
