I wrote this poem (lol, its sorta a poem story) after looking at a photo of a woman and girl sleeping on the street. It just inspired me to write this.

I'm not going to be the girl that waits for the guy. No I'm not going to stop my life for that. I'm not going to be the girl that sits down and cries and refuses to go on. No I'm not going to let life get to me like that. I'm not going to be that girl that claims that I know every step, dance, move that life has. No, but I will try my best to keep up and learn some of them. I'm going to work and twirl and dance, in rain, snow, sun, or hail. And nothing is going to stop me.

Hi! I'm xWonder Struckx, and this is my entry for the first-ever "Attys" (2012). I'm 13 years old and LOVE to write. My parents thought I was crazy when I said I wanted to enter as a competitor, but I told them that it would be challenge. And it was more than a challenge! I spent the whole day researching different poetic forms and writing a poem for each one. But I finally finished. So, enjoy! Also, special thanks to Silver for the amazing book cover :D
