This is a poem that my father wrote to me before he passed away a few years ago. The poem is talking about abuse and trauma. I still believe he was using his words in this poem to reach out for help.

This poem is about a wife and mother in some seriously deep pain that just had her children ripped out of her life by a man she loved and was with for 27 years! She woke up in the county jail on September 19, 2014 and thought this has got to be just another nightmare! She was just released from this place only a few days ago. When she was finally called to first appearance they told her she was charged with two counts of burglary in the first degree? In total disbelief they had to have arrested the wrong person because she had no memory of anything let alone is not a THEIF. She's always said there are two characteristics in a person that she does not like and that is a THEIF AND A LIAR. She has been put behind the glass in isolation for snapping on the police for lying to her father by telling him that they had some state soap behind the desk for her to use. It was her last phone call and had no soap and no more money on her books to call anyone!

A Georgia girl 8 months pregnant and homeless. She just lost her home due to the Centerville police and ex husband. Walking around on a cold night not knowing where she will lay her head down to sleep. She's walking by a big white church in the same neighborhood that she grew up in and comes across a big pile of trash out by the road. She loves dumpster diving and truly believes that someone else's trash is another ones treasure! After looking up and praying to GOD she finds a Children's bedtime story book along with other great books! I thank the man above everyday for another day alive and to have a healthy beautiful baby boy!

This poem is about a girl who had been sexually abused by her stepfather since she was a little girl and still battles with it currently. She was in the hospital getting ready to deliver her child. She was alone as always with no family and no friends by her side until her sole sister walked in to be there with her all the way till the end. She had to have a c-section delivery so as she's been put under by the anesthesia her sister begins to worry that she won't wake back up.

This is a poem I wrote when I was in prison. I wrote it on 12/04/16 and sent it to him when he graduated military school. I'm so thankful and grateful that his dad was there to keep pushing him to do something with his life. He probably would have ended up turning out just like me but his dad always steered him in the right direction. He taught him how to stay positive and be independent. I love you son and mama is so proud of you. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there with you all the years I was incarcerated. It still hurts just as bad today as it did when the police escorted me out of our home years ago. Thank you Andrew for being there when I couldn't.
