Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, the last remaining members of Team Seven, as well as the last ones left in their world. They had killed Uchiha Madara and ensured that he was gone for good. However, that was not without a heavy price. It had gone wrong somewhere, leading to the deaths of all the ninja of the Shinobi Alliance. The 4th Great Ninja War is finally over, but at a cost. Everyone is dead. Well, almost everyone. Naruto(along with Kurama), Sakura, and Shikamaru are the only people in Konoha left alive. He ended it. The only thing he had left, but no desire to keep: His Life. There was nothing left for him- nothing left to live for. No one there to protect. Nothing that he could hold dear. So, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze ended it. However, the Kyuubi had other ideas... The fox had no desire to see his kit dead- nothing left to live for, so he did the only logical thing. Kurama sent him to the past. Discontinued College is hard and writing is starting to feel more like a job than a hobby.

Despite not being able to be with him physically, Minato continues to watch over his son, Naruto. He watches him grow from the afterlife, the regret of not being able to raise his son right weighing him down. When his grief is at its worst, he wishes only to be reunited with his son; he gets his wish. And much more.

No one would have expected for orochimaru to side with konoha again. Nor would they have expected for the white zetsu army to be the world's end. Luckily, shinobi are taught to expect the unexpected.
