Meet Jessica 'Jessie' Basset, the beast of a lawyer the country of South Africa has ever seen. She has carved her name into the books of the 'go-to-lawyers' if you want to win cases. Chances of her losing court cases were 1 in a million. She invested her all in everything she did. Men lusted after her, women wanted to be her, or kill her. She was strikingly gorgeous, fair, caramel skinned, Brown eyes and a huge black afro hair that was her signature look. She feared nothing, she was vicious, a go-getter, and thought the world was at her mercy until she met the mobster, Kai 'Fantasma' Neverson, who showed her that all the men she met in her life were full of games, and he was the real deal. Killing was a sport for him, selling drugs and smuggling diamonds was the game he played all so well, earning him the title of 'The biggest mafia boss' South Africa has ever seen. Police, government, they couldn't get through to him, he always slipped through their fingers, but one time he was caught and was held in police custody and who else to represent him during his trial than the beautiful Miss Basset? Read to find how Jessie fought her feelings hard that she had for the dangerous man who came into her life like a wrecking ball. He was dangerous and evil, and everything he did was illegal and Jessie wanted no part of that, or did she? □□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□ illegal love is my third book in the mafia/romance genre. "5,4,3,2, 1..Over", Peace counted sliding down the pole she's been dancing on for 30 minutes. She walked out of the stage and immediately took off the heels that were burning her feet the moment she reached backstage. "Dan", she greeted the giant man without even looking at him. "The Boss wants to talk to you.", he said with the same nonchalant tone, "Sure", "Now" "I need to change.", she continued walking and didn't wait for his answer. The Boss was watching Peace's performance from his office, she was in the top two of his best performers and other men were now noticing that too. "You took your time.", he said his eyes still glued on his MacBook screen. "I had a hard time taking off the costume, it was too tight.", she explained. He took a sip from the whisky that has been on the table, "I have a proposal", he smirk his eyes now on her, the whiskey still in his hand.

"How about we do this, you help me get back at work and I help with your... Orgasm Problem" "I don't have a problem" I say defensively and almost offended, if only he wasn't speaking the truth. "You know you do, I heard you. Remember?" "You shouldn't be eavesdropping on people's conversations like that. It's rude." "And I apologise for it. Now back to the big O problem, Let me help you with that. " he leans forward and stares right into the windows of my soul. My 'Yes' is begging to be released from the grip of my tongue, lord knows I do have a problem. But I know.... I know that once I cross this line, there's no turning back, there's no wishing for a way back and there's definetly no denying that I'll be putting a lot of things on the line, including my own life.

The need to destroy brews from the pit of her stomach,'the wrath of a woman scorned'she recites in her head. Dear readers Hello guys, this is one of my favourite books because it came straight from a dream I had. I remember sleeping and thinking I should remember this for a novel definitely. But anyways let's not dwell much on my dream, all the characters in this book are fictional, including the story. If you see anything that is similar to a movie or a book you've read, please please please it's all a coincidence. I'm not a copycat because I know how discouraging and disrespectful it is to the next person. I also kindly ask that you do not plagiarise my work. Editing will be done after the whole book is done and please excuse my spelling and horrible grammar if you catch any. Thank you in advance to those who will read, vote, follow and comment on my work. Please guys, constructive comments only because negative energy is non existing here so... ENJOY❤️ love, the writer
