The story takes a lot of creative liberty and it does not follow the On My Block story line represented in the show. It takes place after Season 3. The following events have been changed. ***Oscar Diaz (Spooky) didn't kill Cuchillos and didn't leave Freeridge. ***Cesar killed Latrelle when he was 17. Because of that, the squad (Ruby, Cesar, and Jamal) broke up. ****Monse went away to boarding school when she was 15 and has not returned.
