Instead of being the renowned beauty that she really is, she must help her sister gain "The Lion" of the Highlands favor, even though the feat seems impossible, for every word and look coming from him shows just how feral the man really is. A deadly Highlander shouldn't be forced to marry-but that's exactly what's happening to Kane "The Lion" Shaw. With a new squire, a leper of a lady living in his keep, and his neighboring highlanders beginning to stir with unease, Kane has a lot on his plate. But a Highlander never surrenders...and ignores the odd feelings his squire stirs inside of him. When Saeran, posing as a squire, is forced to be around "The Lion", the roughest, meanest, most barbarian man she's ever met, she is sure her ruse is hanging by a thread. When he begins to suspect what she really is, she makes the most dangerous decision...and finds that this Highlanders touch makes it harder and harder to deny what is happening between them, even while danger wars around them. "Being reunited with your childhood best friend after eight years apart? Sounds like a heart-warming story. Finding out that said best friend is now a complete jerk who's determined to make your life hell? Not so much." Georgie and Connor were once inseparable. Best friends from birth, they did everything together - well, that was until Connor's dad got a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity and the family was forced to relocate to New York. At age sixteen, Georgie's life is totally different - her main goal being to keep her head down and escape the brutalities of high school with as little emotional scarring as possible. Balancing school, work and her dwindling social life is enough of a challenge, but it's about to get a bit more complicated when her conceited ex-best friend gets thrown into the mix. Maybe friendship should come with an instruction booklet.

After not seeing each other for nearly eight years, Justin and Laila are suddenly forced to spend the entire summer together. Now if that's not bad enough, Justin and Laila couldn't be more opposite from each other. At first it's plainly clear to everyone that they're just not going to get along at all. But the more Justin and Laila actually get to know each other - and when they aren't fighting over something stupid - the two slowly realize that maybe there are things in life they'll need each other to figure out. If Justin is arrogant, snarky, and just a bit too handsome for his own good, then Laila may just end up going insane. And if Laila's clever, quick-witted, and beyond pretty, then God help Justin. So the same thought on both of their minds? Is this going to be the summer of a life time or what?

"Grace Winters," I paused as I heard the teacher call my name, and waited impatiently for her to pull another card out of the bag. "And Liam Rider." I watched as his face turned, his blue eyes finally connecting with mine. Standing up, he sauntered over to my spot at the front of the class, and sat in the seat opposite me. Running his hand slowly through his jet black hair, he smirked and leaned close to my ear. His breath was hot on my neck and his husky voice sent shivers down my spine. "Let's make a baby."

This isn’t your ordinary One Direction fan fiction. In this story Liam isn’t the fifth band member; instead the judges decided that it would be Melody. Yeah you heard right, the fifth bend member is a girl. Melody was just a regular girl until she was put together with four other guys. Instead of being at home, bored, she is living life to the fullest. She spends her days recording new music, singing for huge crowds, doing interviews and laughing around with her four best friends. And suddenly they’re in the spotlight with everybody watching their every move. It’s safe to say that this shenanigan wasn’t what she expected when she auditioned for The X Factor. Less likely to be hated by girls for being in the band with the most handsome guys walking on the planet, or at least that’s what the fans think. However, she’s been carrying a secret. A secret that could easily turn to turmoil if it comes out. Because he is forbidden to love. Little did she know that she isn’t the only one keeping a huge secret. After all, what is a band without its scandals?

When Aiden left Bailey a year and a half ago she was just his shy nerdy best friend. They would spend every day together, tell each other their deepest secrets and vowed they’d never let anything come between them for as long as they lived. Once Bailey realizes she no longer has her support system and can’t get by just being Aiden’s quiet little best friend anymore she knows it’s time for a change. And what better way to make a change than be the change. Away with those thick brown unnecessarily large glasses and braces and let’s not forget the baggy wardrobe and in with new stuff. After a complete makeover and change in social status Bailey is no longer that shy quiet girl. No she is the “it girl.” But can popularity and new clothes change who you were on the inside completely? According to Bailey though, she doesn’t even know that girl anymore so maybe it can. Life was pretty much perfect….well almost. How can be anymore when her best friend shows back up expecting to find the girl he’d left a couple of years ago? Now with Aiden in the same house next door that they grew up in and looking as good as ever it does nothing short of throwing her through a loop. How will this affect her new found status as Ms. Popular? And can she keep it up with Aiden back again? Who knows but he’s sure not gonna make it easy on her. Not when he wants back the girl he used to know.

He's looking for love - the crazy, obsessive admiration he can only get from his fandom is what he's after. Niall creates a project, the girlfriend project. It consists of him traveling, and picking girls out of the crowd - just to see if she's "the one". Pepper Clarke is a sixteen-year-old girl from a small town near Seattle. Pepper lives her life the way she wants it, which usually means blogging about One Direction with her best friend Macy. For her birthday, she acquires tickets to one of their concerts, and suddenly her life is turned upside down. * Notes: This is a work of fiction. Any names or characters are inspired by, but not affiliated with One Direction, Niall Horan, businesses, or places. Events or incidents, are also fictitious. I wrote this in 2012, when I was 16.
