Located on an island of the coast of Costa Rica , Isla Nublar is a research facility , park, and resort , with 20.000 visitors a day, the park has minimum anomaly's and they plan to keep that way , but everything goes haywire when a new type of dinosaur hybrid, one that was genetically engineered, the Indominus Rex, escapes captivity . It goes around reeking havoc all over the island , killing for sport . A seemingly normal day , turns into a disastrous nightmare . Unluckily , Zach and Gray Mitchell , come to visit the island that same day , hoping to spend time with Their Aunt Claire , she is also one of the most respected Paleontologists on the island , she's also the one who created the beast . the two brothers are disappointed when their aunt cancels on them and sticks them with Katrina and Sam Grayson and an annoying assistant . They spend the day together , and develop a bond , that goes through even an Indominus situation , with Claire and Owen Grady in the mix , it's up to them to save the island .

Mari Whitmore and Zach Mitchell have known each other their entire lives. Not only because they lived in the same neighborhood but also because their parents were really good friends. Mari and Zach did everything together, from learning how to walk to learning how to drive. They shared an unbreakable bond. Until one of Mari's not so great friend, caused them to separate.
