The story starts off with Hajime Hinata, a 17 year old ordinary reserve course student. Nothing interesting happened in his life until he was given the opportunity to become the ultimate hope. Dealing having him and another person in his head he meets a boy named Nagito Komeada also knows as the ultimate lucky student. How will this play out between the "reserve course student" and the ultimate lucky student?
