Pansy leaned into his arm, "Would you win Potter?' she asked and before he could answer she held up an ornate card. Draco's eyes widened and he reached out for the invitation. Pansy twitched it back, "Draco," she said quietly, "I will only give this to you if you win that ridiculous Potter date."

Convinced by Hermione to get a new pet, Harry goes to Magical Menagerie and finds it's now owned by Draco Malfoy who has changed since the war... in a good way, a really good way.

Draco Malfoy, Head of Veela Affairs at the Department of Magical Beings, does not do people favours. Harry Potter, recently turned werewolf, is not "people" - not to Draco anyway. Does Draco plan to fall in love with Harry when he decides to help him? No. Does he end up falling in love with him anyway? Pft, what do you think?

"We can be friends, if you like," he says instead, nonchalant and careless. "What I'd like," Potter says seriously, "is to kiss you." Draco feels his jaw drop, feels the way his hair tumbles into his eyes when he whips around to stare at Potter. "What?" he breathes. "I think I'd like to kiss you," Potter repeats sombrely, no hint of mirth evident. "You think?" Draco says steadily, proud of himself for holding himself together. Potter's eyebrows slide up briefly but then Draco can't think or act or speak or breathe because Potter is leaning in and cupping his cheek gently. "I know," Potter says simply, and kisses Draco.

"Things haven't been quite the same There's a haze on the horizon, babe It's only been a couple of days and I miss you" Potionsmaster Draco Malfoy swore after the war he would never return to England after fleeing to France for a fresh start. Cue Auror Harry Potter quite literally upending Draco and his life once again as Harry's work takes him out of the country and drops him violently back into Draco's life.
