So. Here are the facts as you see them. Fact number one: Giulia is going to be on the train for Genova in two days. She's going back home--because Genova is her home, apparently, and you're still grappling with the idea that there are places outside your island and Portorosso, BIG ones, they keep telling you, all over the globe--where she'll spend the next nine or so months going to school. Fact number two: You and Luca now own your very own Vespa. It's not road-ready yet, and it might not be for a while, which is fine actually because it turns out now that the Paguros aren't going to send Luca away to the bottom of the ocean, you're going to have to whittle them down into giving him permission to run away with you. Fact number three: That's not even really a plan that makes sense, if you think about it for more than a few minutes at a time. Fact number four: You haven't forgotten that Luca doesn't actually want to run away with you anymore. He's just pretending he never said it.

After a whole school year, Luca and Giulia are finally returning to Portorosso. During those nine months, Luca has developed a super-huge-enormous secret, and he's written about it dozens of times in his daily journal. He takes it home, determined to hide the contents from everyone-especially Alberto. But Alberto is stubborn, and as soon as he suspects something is fishy, he won't let up. Wanna know the worst part? A story that takes place after the events of Disney Pixar's Luca, Cinque Anni starts after our main protagonist, Luca, graduated from Upper Secondary School. From the moment he steps off of the train and enters into Portorosso once more, Alberto, his one special person, is there to meet him. What Alberto doesn't know is that Luca is hiding a big secret, something that could change both of their lives forever.

luca had gone to school without returning to portorosso. he started living with himself instead of giulia and her mom. it's been 4 years and he hadn't gotten in contact with alberto at all. until one summer he decided he had to return to portorosso and see what awaited for him. NOTE THEY ARE AGED UP! NOT MINORS !! [LOWER CASE INTENDED]

this is the written version of my comic + a little follow up about what happened after dinner

It's the fifth Summer Alberto gets to spend with Luca and Giulia. However, this one is unlike any other. Atom bomb threats are all over the news in Italy. Luca and Alberto are scared that their life on the surface will come to an end . As for Giulia, along with all the other humans she's worried her life will come to an end. But, Alberto's determined to keep his promise to Luca; "Can you promise me you'd spend your last moments with me if it were all to end?"
