A self-illustrated post-Skyrim story beyond the fall of the Dark Brotherhood~ After a surreal event, Cicero is inexplicably thrown back into a clear state of mind, and his memories from his life prior to his madness return. We begin to learn who he really is... or was. Mind games begin from external influences in what seems to be a conspiracy way bigger than him or the Dark Brotherhood. He becomes a wild card that all sides want to play against each other. With all of this, he has to deal with Jade, an egotistical Listener who WON'T LISTEN. Cicero's a hypocrite trying to protect her from herself and destroy the demons from her past while running from his own in denial. This story also includes: Daedric Prince mischief, the Tonal Architect rising, the curse of the Green Pact Oathbreaker, and lots of secrets, betrayal, mysteries, and messy unrequited love... no, seriously- *This is not a simple love story.* This is a story about foolish hearts. ------------------------------- This is a remaster of book one of my "Foolish Hearts Saga". I'm gradually posting the remastered chapters with all new/updated art and using Wattpad as a draft archive of sorts. If you'd prefer to read on A03 or DA, please check my profile for the link! The folks who reside in all of Skyrim have heard the famous tale of the woman born of both man and mer who became their dovahkiin savior. Perhaps all of Tamriel can recite her story as the hero who prevented the very world itself from ceasing to even exist at the claws of Alduin himself. What the people of Tamriel so easily forget is the matter of another presence-a man (or mer) who forever concealed his identity behind hood and mask, yet he never abandoned the Dragonborn's side no matter how perilous the journey became. Who was he? And why did he choose to forfeit his identity away from his companion's narrative? This is the true story of the dovahkiin, Enora Dufont, and her most treasured friend, Jokul Black Briar-Maven Black Briar's unknown, adopted son.

Randomly receiving a piece of parchment with a road-map and an "X" to mark the spot, Landry has travelled for so long that even his boots gave up. His journey brought him to Pollard's Grove, a generally unknown and quiet lumber village on the outskirts of the Wyrmwood, a densely packed forest with gargantuan trees at the centre of Lake Laga. There, he meets a friend he hasn't seen in years, a black-haired elf by the name of Maliah who is uncharacteristically concerned as to why she summoned him. With magical threads of light, how far could the story lead beyond the Grove? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The story takes place within my world, called Aurum. The known world is split into two continents, the 'Twin Continents.' The West Continent is home to Cleonth, Zalafold, The Northern Kingdoms and the remnants of Larune. The East Continent is made up of Elduira, Zanokar, Adraskia, The Huinan Empire and more. (Names may change.) The sea that separates the two is known as the Meridean Sea, and none can leave the Twins and return due to the surrounding boundless oceans, known as the Vast Blue. Many thanks to my friends Imp, Zero and Morgz for their invaluable feedback :)

A (mostly) cozy fantasy in which the rule of three is misused, the slow burn is glacial, and the cast of characters is twice as large as it needs to be. Also, there are monsters now. 𖤓 In a city unknowingly on the edge of chaos, seven strange items are left by an elusive beast known as the chimera. As the recipients struggle to understand their gifts, they must also contend with the unpredictable visits of Jasper, who keeps dropping unexpectedly into their world. 𖤓 Now featuring 55% more plot than originally intended.
