Everything that happened in The Timeline remains as fact in regards to these one shots. Think of these one shots as spin offs from The Timeline, or various epilogues along the lines of 'Five Years Later...' or whatever it may be. Though he's just a kid himself, he understands enough to know something is wrong-and he makes a promise to always be there for her. Bound by a secret neither of them fully understands, Taylor and Travis find safety in each other's presence. Through scraped knees, whispered stories, and pinky promises, their connection deepens into something unshakable. But as they grow up, the weight of what Taylor endures threatens to pull her under-and Travis begins to realize that love alone might not be enough to save her.

Travis has always had a big heart for others, to help, to protect and especially to cook for. He went to the city to make it big and after he finally succeedes the restaurant he runs becomes like a second home to him. so one night, when he wants to close up this place and finds a girl wrapped in a bunch of dirty blankets in the freezing New York winter night he cant do anything else but take her in. And the more the mudd gets washed off, the layers and walls fall the more perfect they seem for each other.
