From birds, to time paradoxes, to *hopefully* emotional stories, bits and thoughts, along with ideas and quick poems, I present to you, my attempt at a mini collection of mini... things! (in order from oldest to newest personally i believe the newer ones are better but-) . . . "come..." It beckons me. Silent promises. I would've been in shock. But I can't even do that anymore. My breaths are shorter and quicker now. A sharp pain cuts through my throat as I attempt to inhale. I can barely feel myself falling anymore. At least I can't feel the pain either.

<3 I grab my watch for the 5th time in the hour. It had literally been 5 minutes. Only 3:47. Still. I try to close my eyes again, but it's only a better way to squeeze out more tears that don't seem to be running out. I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow. No, today. I beg myself to fall asleep, but it doesn't work. I roll over, away from everyone else huddled in like sardines in a can. No one is seeing me like this tonight. Not here, in a dirty subway station. I don't need someone else to be stressed out either. I look around though. How can they all sleep so well? <3

Note: This is a side story to Away From Home, one of my other stories, but it works fine on it's own as well! She never slept. Her eyes, they never closed. Mortality? Never had it. Her name was Elisabeth Jane. The fire slowly flickered out, leaving only ashes behind.
