Lyra Walker has been living on her own since she was sixteen, but throughout her whole life she was always alone and unloved. Now at 23 being alone is just something she can't handle anymore. She comes across a band named Her Bright Skies (and more importantly Petter Nilsson) and her whole life is changed.
