Madison Whitley was crippled, and she has been all her life. Her parents thought she would be a late walker, or something else, at least not crippled, they could have never had thought she was crippled. She always sat on her red wheelchair, there was even a headphone holder, made just for her. She wasn't teased at school, in fact when she came to Stockhill School for primary, everyone envied her, they said 'riding a wheelchair is just like riding a car', sometimes they would even beg her to ride it. She was the famous 'wheelchair girl', and she still is now.
Tristen Feller, on the other hand, is completely functional. He came from Japan, but he's American. He and his dad first moved to Japan because of the 'great opportunity' after his parents got divorced. Life was good, he got a girlfriend, dad was always home, got a great house. Until he needed to move back to Boston with his new Japanese step-mom. He was okay when he first arrived, he hadn't found a school yet, until his girlfriend text messaged that 'the long distance is killing me, and i got another boyfriend D:'. He went devastated. A new transfer from Nagasaki, with a broken heart, and a striving soul.
