A shadow snaked up my arm, a gentle caress, a brush of the night. "My name, Alina." I lifted my head. "Please, Aleksander." The darkness fell away and the nichevo'ya went still. The Grisha stopped and faced us. I barely registered Mal's horrified gaze. "Stand." My knees shook, but I pushed myself to my feet and stared into the Darkling's quartz eyes. Lifeless. Empty. Victorious. - The Darkling's forces are too great. The nichevo'ya, the Grisha, the merzost... Alina Starkov has no choice but to surrender and become the Darkling's Queen. - DARKLING X ALINA FANFIC TAKES PLACE AFTER CH 11 RUIN AND RISING (SPOILERS) I update Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! After the war, Alina and Mal decided to rebuild the orphanage in Keramzin. Alina was no longer a sun summoner. Or was she? She could sometimes still feel a flicker of power residing in her. But not just the light. The dark was inside her still as well. But the Darkling is dead, right? Aleksander was dead and burned, never to return to the land of the living. At least, that was what she thought... DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS OR LIKE THE GRISHAVERSE AT ALL. THAT HONOR BELONGS TO LEIGH BARDUGO English is not my native language so forgive me if I make a mistake! Enjoy reading ;)

Malyen Oretsev is dead, and his forearm is wrapped around Alina Starkov's wrist. The antlers of the stag, the scales of the sea serpent and the tracker's bone combine Alina Starkov's power into something much more divine than a saint and more fearsome than a summoner. They strip Alina away from herself, leaving only terrible, searing light behind. Gutted of her humanity and with her Grisha powers defiled, Alina isn't a saint. She's a god, and Ravka will worship at her feet. But, like all things, like calls to like - and light demands the balance of shadow.

This is not the Darklings redemption, but Alina's corruption. Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone turned darker and toxic. *** Alina Starkov. The Sun Summoner. His Solider. He told her they were going to change the world, and she believed him.

A darklina story~How would the story end if the battle at the climax of Seige & Storm between Alina and the Darkling happened at a different place and time-After the Darkling became the reigning king. What would have happened if the Sun Summoner surrendered? Alina Starkov struggles with her feelings towards Aleksander and protecting her country. She is forced into decisions that she did not want to make while at the Grand Palace. The Sun Summoner loses even more control over her life after her marriage to the Darkling. She must gain back control and find a way to save Aleksander's humanity; the lives of innumerous innocent people depend on it. This story is based on the Shadow and Bone trilogy combined with the Netflix show. Characters and universe created by Leigh Bardugo. ___________ Once I have calmed down, he lets go and leans back in his chair placed beside me. The Darkling just sits there and stares at me, observing me the way he always does. Moments pass, I become frustrated and snap at him. "Well? Are you going to yell at me? Hurt me? Tell me how you are the only one that I am equivalent to in my eternal life, so I should rely solely on you? He raises an eyebrow. "All of those would be sufficient options, but no." I scoff in response before asking, "then... what are you going to do with me?" He reaches out and traces the features of my jaw and face. He replies, "well that will depend on you." "Me?" I ask warily. He moves a strand of hair out of my face and continues to caress my cheek. "Yes," he exhales. "I don't want you to hate me, Alina. It is up to you to decide whether you want me to be your villain or your husband." #1 darklina 10/24 #1 shadowandbone 12/22 #1 fantasy-romance 2/24 #1 darkling 8/24

ΰΌΆβ€’β”ˆβ”ˆ β™› β”ˆβ”ˆβ€’ΰΌΆ "You really want me to shy away like I used to? Like your little mouse?" I pierce him with every word. The Darkling stares back and for a while the only thing that moves in the room are the shadows. "Alina, you misunderstand me. I have waited centuries for someone like you. Centuries, Alina, alone. I do not need to answer your question. You know what I want." Please don't say it, I think. "I want you to be my Queen, Alina." He pushes off from his chair and I shiver in my seat as he pauses by my side. The Darkling's hands find my chin and he holds my head tenderly with both hands. My power sparks at his touch like fire to kindling and I have to clench a hand in my dress skirt to keep control. He makes sure my gaze is entirely on him when he says, "And you know you will." I shake underneath the pressure of his words and he strokes my chin to calm me. Fine, but he has no idea what he is asking for. I shall be a queen, but not his. And he will regret the day he forced me back at his side like a dog. Aleksander, I think, bow. ΰΌΆβ€’β”ˆβ”ˆ β™› β”ˆβ”ˆβ€’ΰΌΆ It starts with burst of light, like it did in the beginning. Every time a Sun Summoner dies, there is a burst of light. With every flashing death, Alina can feel a strong hum of power return to her. Fearing the loss of her new life, she sets out on a mission to the Little Palace with hopes her old friends could help her. Little does Alina know, a familiar shadow sits on the throne of Grisha. As a whirlwind of events sets her right back on square one, Alina makes a vital decision to change everything. Still, she finds herself teetering in the edge of letting the Darkling and her powers swallow her up. The Sun Summoner has grown and she can no longer be a saint. She has to be a queen. ΰΌΆβ€’β”ˆβ”ˆ β™› β”ˆβ”ˆβ€’ΰΌΆ This is a Grisha trilogy fanfiction that takes place after Ruin and Rising. All rights belong to Leigh Bardugo. VERY SLOW BURN Darklina!
