Winter. A time of year the newsboys of New York City wish they skip over. It got cold- real cold. Newsies all over would start showing signs of sickness within the first weeks of winter. Not as many people are out on the streets, which means not as many people are there to buy papes. Money gets scarce and it's not like any of them can afford a winter coat. Wintertime is chaotic enough as it is, but when you're a newsboy trying to juggle a forbidden relationship, the death of many friends, and the return of a psychotic family member? Yeah, things can get a little... destructive. Peridot isn't really a narcissist, and Lapis isn't really as strange as she seems. Peridot soon finds herself developing feelings for Lapis, feelings she's never felt before. Confused and afraid, Peridot is trying her best to figure this out. Yet she can't help but wonder... Does Lapis feel the same?
