On a newly formed island, two scientists are ending their daily research on a mysterious tree named the Magma Buso. The sap that is secreted from the tree is said to feel as warm as a kiss. A sensation Raha has never known. Author's Note: This short story was one of my first that I'm most proud of, and this is also the one that landed me my place at Emerson College. However, romance is not often my strong suit, and as I said, this was one of my earlier works. So I apologise if it's a bit poor. But all the same, I owe a lot to this short story, and I wish to share it with all of you. (Also, the cover is just the closest thing I could find on google images as to what a Magma Buso looks like. I most likely will change it later once I draw or comission/ask somone to draw a better Magma Buso tree)

Dove, a 16-year-old girl wakes up in a white room with absolutely zero memory of how she got there. Cozbi, the man in charge of her, allows Dove to do whatever she pleases, with only two rules. (1) She can not leave the room. (2) and she can not let anyone into the room. When Cozbi stops showing up one day, Dove opens the white door and steps out into the dark hallway.
