Sonakshi and Dev meet after five years of splitting up when Sona asks him for a divorce so she can get ahead with her life. What does it take for love to blossom in hardened hearts? Faced with a final parting, will they fight for their love ? Will they fall in love with each others' perfect imperfections again?

The story follows Dev and Sonakshi in the ITV show Kuch Rang Pyaar ke Aise Bhi Season 3, after Sona's outburst regarding Dev's absence during Asha's death at the counselor's office. The lack of details regarding this significant event in their lives by the show's writers left me looking for an explanation on my own. This story will follow the canon track of his absence, but I want to consider more details, thus giving us fans a better clarity and understanding of the events.
