A story of love and family after tragedy.

Frank Iero is seventeen years old. when school ends and his friends Ray Toro and Mikey Way decide to all stay at Mikeys house for the Summer, Frank never expected to see Mikeys brother Gerard (19) again,after just getting over him while Gerard was in college.

"You can run away with me, anytime you want." I want to get away. Away from the abuse at home, at school hell, but we're not friends. I could never be friends with Gerard Way. He's just some guy that fate seems to drive me towards. His brother may be even more of asshole than him, making my school life living hell and I guess things at home are not too great either. And despite how much of an asshole Gerard Way is, he's the only one that seems to make anything better.

Frank is attending college in a big city. Gerard is running a small yet successful craft shop in said city. Frank is seeking refuge from the rain and his mother's insistent voice, telling him to come and visit home for once. Gerard is just folding more paper cranes in the back room. They're his main attraction after all. They sell for high prices, but what if someone finally finds out what they're made of?

Franks all alone in the world. He can't trust anyone with his fragile heart, not even the person he loves. Not after what happened last time. But can Gerard work a miracle and teach Frank that love can be a good thing, and that it doesn't always end with dark and unhappy partners? {Frerard/possible Rikey} This is in fact my first ever fanfic so please don't hate... :3
