Book 1 of the Accardi series Please read the trigger warnings ~ 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬, a sweet 18 year old girl who's endured years upon years of abuse from her father and his friends. The night of her 18th birthday she's finally able to escape, but while walking the streets of New York she has no idea where to go. So she ends up in an alleyway, finding Lorenzo but is terrified at what she witnesses. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢 is a 21 year old, supposedly ruthless mafia leader. Many fear him, but deep down he's a sweetheart. Delilah's the one who gets him out of this ruthless exterior he puts on. When he meets Delilah, he knows something is up from the start and wants to know what. But Delilah struggles to trust him after everything she went through and what she witnessed him do. She just wanted to get away from her old life, running away was the best option. He just happened to be doing one of the many things mafia boss's do the same night she ran away. Neither of them expected this. ~ She's too distracted while I continue to kiss her neck to even notice me taking out my phone, quickly taking a picture of us. I don't notice the flash being on, so she notices me taking the picture and pushes me away jokingly. "Delete that!" she begs. "And why should I do that?" I'm definitely keeping this picture. "I look horrible right now!" That's a load of shit. The thing is, whenever she thinks that she looks horrible is when she looks her best. But she also always looks her best. My effortlessly pretty girl. "You do not. Del, you're always the most beautiful person around, stop talking that nonsense." She blushes, again. She blushes so easily, I love it.

❝How did we get here?❞ I asked him as he twirled my hair between his fingers. He lifted my head up from his chest and smiled. ❝I don't know, but I'll do it all over again if it means I get to stay here with you forever.❞ ✧˖*°࿐ Sophia Ross, a beautiful girl with the age of 16 - almost 17. She can be a little shy at times, and something that makes her even more angelic than she already is...her innocence. Grayson Carter - cold, popular and handsome as hell. He's older. The hottest boy at school - if you can even call him that. He has tattoos and dark brown hair. He never shows any emotion, but that changes when he meets Sophia. She is a reminder to him of someone special. Someone who is gone now. - The young girl gets to know him better, and begins to realise that he is hiding something big. Drama starts. Friendships, heartbreaks, jealousy, but something else as well- in the dark, at night. She all begins to notice this when a murder is announced at her school. { WARNING: - My first book, so please excuse my grammar mistakes - This IS your typical, cliche high school story. BUT there is a dark twist!

Isaac pulls back, his eyes burning into mine. "Look at me after I kiss you" he says, voice low and rough, like he's fighting for control. I nod, breathless, cheeks flaming. "Are you shy?" he asks, a teasing lilt in his tone. I shrug, my voice barely a whisper. "I-I don't know what to do. It's my first time kissing someone." Isaac's eyes soften. He smiles-a slow, dangerous smile that sends another shiver through me. "It's also my first time, Mila" he says, voice warm and low. My head snaps up, eyes wide. No way. He's too good at this. "It can't be" I say, disbelief colouring my voice. He leans closer, lips brushing my ear. "Just because it's my first kiss doesn't mean I don't know exactly what I need to do to make you feel good, sweetheart." Heat blooms in my cheeks, spreading down my neck. My hands tremble as they rest on his chest.

Anneliese is an empathetic, outgoing young woman who has struggled finding a safe place to express herself. Often looking for new ways to meet friends, she wouldn't pass the opportunity to chat someone up. Even a stranger at the diner she works at to pass time and support herself. A dedicated man takes to the nativity of Anneliese. He is direct and prefers to keep to himself. Even an isolated man by choice can't withstand Anneliese's pull. Gravitating towards her, he manages to bring her a sense of comfort to the new beginnings in life. Not all beginnings are as true as they let off and lies can only last so long. ~ ❀ ~ I can't help but stare at her. Her face, lips, and smile, and her nose. Even her long, curled lashes. "Let's do a butterfly kiss!" She exclaims, pulling my face close suddenly. Kiss? My heart hammers in my chest, my breath hitching. Her small hands hold my face close to hers. It's not very forceful, I could pull away if I wanted to, but I let her have control. Her hands are warm and soft against my jaw. Getting closer, her eyes lashes flutter and I find myself holding my breath. She brushes her lashes to mine, her breath fanning against my lips. Subconsciously, I lean forward, wanting my lips to be on hers. June flutter her lashes, grazing her lashes to mine. Out of nowhere she bursts out in a fit of laughter. I flinch back. Butterfly kiss. That was not a fucking kiss. ~ ❀ ~ #1 cliche 2025 #1 sweatheart 2025 #1 opposites 2026 *Warning* Mature themes will be covered (language, actions, etc).

Ten years after a love that ended without goodbye, Alex has built a quiet life around ambition, routine, and carefully buried memories. He tells himself the past no longer matters-until one ordinary afternoon, he sees a child who looks unmistakably like him. And standing beside that child is Maya-the woman who once knew his heart better than anyone. Maya never meant to return. But secrets have a way of demanding the truth, and time has a way of reopening wounds that never fully healed. As Alex struggles with disbelief, anger, and longing, he is forced to confront a question that changes everything: What if the life he walked away from never truly left him? Drawn back into Maya's world, Alex discovers a bond with the child that feels both terrifying and undeniable. With every shared moment, old love resurfaces-fragile, complicated, and aching for a second chance. But forgiveness is not simple, and love, once broken, does not come back untouched. A Child That Looks Like Me is a deeply emotional contemporary romance about lost love, hidden truths, and the quiet, powerful ways family finds its way home. It is a story of heartbreak and healing, of choices that echo through time, and of the courage it takes to love again when everything is at stake.
